Description:  In late 2017, the Grafton and Upton Railroad purchased 3 MP15ACs from CSX. These three units were purchased to help modernize their, unfortunately dead, fleet of first generation EMDs. After relying solely on a GATX leased MP15AC, it was decided to look for some of their own after how well the GATX unit did. With an ever growing business, and more freight forecasted to be moved than ever in the railroads history, these MP15s are already helping in a huge way.
